Originally from Seneffe. Stéphanie Thunus developed a passion for cooking at an early age. After studying at the hotel school in Namur, she honed her skills with renowned chefs, which shaped her unique style and love of local produce.

In 2012, Stéphanie opened Au Gré du Vent with her husband Sébastien, building their restaurant, a friendly and refined eatery, in Seneffe close to the family farm. Thanks to her innovative approach and attention to detail, she quickly attracted the attention of food critics and forged a reputation as an exceptional chef.

Today, Stéphanie Thunus is recognized not only for her culinary talents. But also for her commitment to sustainable, environmentally friendly cooking. Her passion for excellence continues to shape the Belgian gastronomic scene. Making her an emblematic figure in contemporary haute cuisine.

In 2014, Stéphanie Thunus was honored with the title of Lady Chef of the Year in Belgium.
